A bosom friend afar brings distance near.

With the global engagement of higher education, seeking international cooperation has become an unseparated part of NPU's strategic developing plan. By the end of April 2021, NPU has developed nearly 300 partners around the world, cooperating in students exchange, academic communication, joint research and international meeting, etc.

More than 2300 students participate in international programmes every year, more than 1600 faculty members go abroad for global communication to seeking cutting edge academic achievement, hundreds of overseas scholars come to NPU for meetings, lectures and joint research each year. The first Joint Education Institution in northwest China— NPU Queen Mary University of London Engineering School now has 4 cohorts of over 900 students in total with the first cohort graduating in June 2021 who demonstrate excellent academic performances. Around 20% of the students were admitted to famous universities in China while other 120 were accepted by internationally renowned universities, including Cambridge University, Imperial College London and University College London, etc. The overall rate of further study is over 80%. In order to integrate high-quality international resources and build up multilateral international cooperation platform, NPU has initiated Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA), Sino-Australia Engineering Universities Consortium (SAEUC) and Belt and Road Cultural Heritage Global Alliance (BRCHGA) since 2017. Now, the three alliances have gathered 139 members in 31 countries.

Hospitality is rooted in Chinese culture, so is in NPU. We welcome friends from all over the world and is open for comprehensive cooperation.
