School of Computer Science Signs a Cooperation Agreement with the French Engineering School EURECOM

On the afternoon of April 3, EURECOM and the School of Computer Science (SCS) at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) signed a 3+2 and 4+2 cooperation agreement. JOURNEAU Franck, the Director of the Teaching Program of EURECOM and his associate, Shang Xuequn, the Dean of the SCS, Cui Helei, the Dean's Assistant, Wei Qianru, the Dean of the School of Software, and Chen Jun, the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office, and relevant personnel attended the signing ceremony. The signing ceremony, which was presided over by Chen Jun, was held in Meeting Room 110 of Qizhen Building.

Chen Jun warmly welcomed the visit of JOURNEAU Franck and his delegation, and introduced the basic situation of our university and the achievements it has made in recent years. Chen Jun stated that the university attaches great importance to cooperation and exchange with French universities, and the signing of the agreement with the EURECOM will lay the foundation for closer and friendly cooperation between the two sides. He hopes that the two schools can strengthen cooperation in the future and bring their partnership into a new stage of deep and high-quality development. Subsequently, Shang Xuequn provided detailed information about the disciplinary advantages, research directions, and international cooperation and exchange of SCS. JOURNEAU Franck shared information on EURECOM and its disciplinary programs.

Under the joint witness of the attending guests, Shang Xuequn signed an agreement with JOURNEAU Franck. According to the agreement, both parties will cooperate in the fields of computer science, electronic information, and artificial intelligence. Students who have completed three years of study at SCS and have achieved good grades can apply to study for master's programs abroad.

During this period, JOURNEAU Franck and his delegation visited the SCS and gained a deeper understanding of the development history of our school. It is believed that with the joint efforts of both parties, the cooperation between the two schools will produce more substantial results and open up new prospects for the implementation of SCS's international development strategy.
