Yu Qifeng, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, expert of experimental mechanics and optical image technology, Professor of National Defense University of science and technology. Born in Fengshun County, Guangdong Province in April 1958, native place: Weihai, Shandong Province. He graduated from the Department of aircraft, Northwestern Polytechnic University in 1981, obtained a master's degree from the University of Defense Science and technology in 1984, and a doctor's degree from the Institute of Applied Optics, University of Bremen, Germany in 1995. He was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009.

For a long time, I have been engaged in the research on the technical and scientific problems of large-scale structural deformation measurement and large-scale motion measurement in experimental mechanics, and developed the theory and method of camera measurement. In the aspect of fixed-point camera measuring moving target, the key technologies of three-dimensional pose measurement and automatic real-time three-dimensional motion measurement of target in shooting range are conquered; in the aspect of moving camera measuring moving target, the theory and method of measuring three-dimensional motion of point target with single moving camera, non visual multi-point dynamic deformation monitoring and dynamic calibration of unstable measurement platform are established; In the aspect of static scene measurement by moving camera (self motion measurement of camera platform), a series of new methods of aircraft visual navigation are proposed, which improve the accuracy and adaptability of scene matching and target recognition; in the aspect of static deformation measurement, the theory and method of phase lossless noise reduction of interference fringe pattern and elimination of systematic error of fringe centerline are proposed. The research results have been successfully applied in the field of manned space flight and national defense. He has won the second prize of national technological invention and the second prize of military scientific and technological progress.
