In order to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, to further promote the refinement, intensification, and specialization of social governance research, to create a social governance pattern of co-construction, governance, and sharing, the seminar of "New Regional Social Governance Pattern from the Perspective of the Modernization of the Rule of Law" was grandly held in Xuzhou on April 20, 2019.
Experts and scholars attended this academic seminar,they are from more than 40 law schools in 23 provinces across the country including Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Nankai University, Shandong University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, Northwest University of Political Science and Law, Jiangsu Academy of Social Sciences.
Associate Professor Han Wei from our college attended the meeting and gave a report entitled "Experience of Democracy and the Rule of Law in Social Governance in Yan'an Period". Associate Professor Chen Yu of China University of Political Science and Law commented and pointed out the universal value of Yan'an experience. After the meeting, the delegates visited Geng Ji, Ma Zhuang and other social governance demonstration sites in Jiangsu Province.
